We completely reinvented ourselves in 2020 and therefore can't tell you any history yet. But you are welcome to read the history of the Ebertor here.

The ‘Eberbacher Hof’ in Boppard!
For 500 years, from 1341 until the French Revolution, the ‘Eberbacher Hof’ stood on the site of today's Ebertor Park Restaurant, one of the major administrative centres of the Eberbach estate in the 14th century. The end of the court came with the French Revolution. The last Zellerar of the court, Benedikt Kalt, acquired the estate for the price of 3,675 francs.
In the last quarter of the 19th century, the estate passed into the ownership of the eldest son Franz of the furniture manufacturer Michael Thonet from Boppard, who had an elaborate villa built on the site of the farm. Until 16 March 1945, when the villa went up in flames after being hit by artillery, the magnificent property was used as a spa hotel, ‘Stadtgarten’ and ‘Hotel Rheinterrasse’.
In 1949, the property finally passed from the Thonet estate of Mrs Gertrude Stoeck, née Andreae, to the Fußhöller family, who began to rebuild the house in 1953.
